Taste of the Yard: Can’t decide on where to eat? Art Deco Weekend: Get ready to for the best three days in the heart of the Miami Beach Art Deco District.  Over 85 events, this cultural festival, includes live concerts, food, drinks, street entertainment, art displays, historical tours and more.

What you need to know: This event will take place on Ocean Drive between Sixth and 13th Streets, Miami Beach; Free Admission, artdecoweekend.com.

Saturday:

Permanent Vacation: Come and experience some of The Grove’s favorite eats like Jaguar Hospitality Group, Atchana’s Homegrown Thai, and The Spillover as they pop up out of their storefronts and into the streets intermingled with some of Miami’s favorite flavors. Transforming Main Highway (from Commodore Plaza to Fuller) into a beachy celebration filled with funky reggae tunes, world music, and more. Take in a set by the favorite Latin Funk outfit, Locos Por Juana and a rocking opening set by Soulixer. The event is free and open to the public.

NoMi Mac & Cheese Festival: During Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday weekend includes a stop at the 2nd Annual NoMi Mac and Cheese Fest, featuring award-winning R&B recording artist, Kelly Price live in concert! Bring your lawn chairs, dancing shoes and appetite for an event you don’t want to miss.

Sunday:

Gables Chili Fest: Foodies come and taste some homemade chili made by professionals and even amateurs, who prepare their own chili con carne recipe and submit it for taste testing. Enjoy these flavorful tastings all the while listing to live music from a variety of acts. What’s even better is that proceeds will be donated to the local veteran community.

Pineapple Sunday
